Another translation of "Standing Toghether", israeli/palestinan peace org newletter: Wow wow wow, what a powerful event we held yesterday! I was so excited to stand on the stage of the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem yesterday, and to speak together with my partner in leading the Standing Together movement, Rola Daoud, to the thousands of participants in the People's Peace Conference of the It's Time Coalition. When we began working on organizing the conference, together with a broad coalition of organizations, we never thought we would reach this moment when 5,000 people would stand together in the stronghold of the right, together refusing war and together demanding Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Everyone who was at the conference yesterday felt the electricity in the air, felt that from here we are embarking on a new path of building a camp of peace and equality and understood that from here we stop stuttering and stop apologizing: we are fighting against the killing and starvation in Gaza, we are fighting for the return of all the kidnapped people home and alive, we are fighting against the occupation and we are fighting for Israeli-Palestinian peace. This is our path, and this is the only solution in which we will all live in security and independence.
