We are thrilled to announce our partnership with @tfh_technology, a key contributor to the @worldcoin project. Starting on Feb 14th, we will integrate World ID's verification into selected tournaments running on @base. This will bolster security of tournaments on CG. Check it out 👇

Tournament Organizers will now have the ability to (optionally) require participants to verify their device using World ID before registering for a tournament deployed on @Base.

While CG has a low incidence of multi-accounting, it does happen and it is a very real issue for web3 gaming. 🧵

Allowing gamers to earn tokens is a powerful tool, but it can be abused by bad actors and dilute the ability for games to reward the true power users. In order to be able to scale web3 gaming to millions of users, we need to tackle both sybil attacks and AI cheats.

This feature is an additional option TOs can use to better ensure a fair competitive experience. We plan to continue to add more ways for users to bolster their GamerID profiles and build up their repuation on CG, including acheivement badges and linking more social accounts.
