was watching a documentary on subliminal programming flashing certain messages (like "eat popcorn"), that conscious mind couldn't perceive yet subconsciously there was prompting for it it's a weird phenomenon i am not yet sure, but to say it has no effect would be too naive there is a residue from media we consume that remains and shapes our identity/behaviour someone more smarter, could elaborate here why higher matters, why higher media matters…

Can’t think of the movie but will smith was in it and it hits on this phenomenon. I’ve never seen the full movie but it’s how he wins a big bet at a football game
