My need ultimately outranks my wants
A necessity beyond all luxury
A great threshold above the life that flaunts
The requisite in human life nursery 

I need listening ears and mind that opens
Need a sense of purpose and heart that loves
To be perfectly baked in life's ovens
And be prepared in the ring with my gloves
