i’d rather have 100 dau-followers than 100k bot-followers 

the amount of sighing i do every time i check my notifications is increasingly frustrating 

i believe i probably have somewhere around ~2000 real followers, so about 10% of my current base 

then i’d say about 10% of those are active, so that’s around 200 people actually getting the chance to engage with my casts each day

i often wonder why i have so many followers compared to other accounts with similar content 

i think it’s because i post a lot in /base and in /replyguys, which both feel heavily botted 

i’m going to cast more in my own, much-smaller, personal channels and see if the bots move on

i think i actually might consider deleting my account if it grows to like 100k followers and my casts are getting ~20 likes each, 3 of which are from real people 

that level of engagement-to-follow ratio would make someone feel so much worse than getting no likes at all

like if i wanted to have conversations with bots, id talk to gpt…

yeah, it really sucks that my most liked casts are just casts bots randomly latched onto

I've been seeing less of that since the new "show more replies" maybe they hide those accounts likes too?
