Norwegian media write that residents of the Hadsel commune were unhappy with the increased noise level produced by the Stokmarknes Datasenter bitcoin mining enterprise.

Residents have been demanding the closure of the enterprise for several years, as a result of which Stokmarknes Datasenter officially ceased operation on September 9 this year ❌

However, due to the sudden shutdown of the mining company in Hadsel, electricity rates increased significantly. The price has increased by as much as 20% 📊
