If there's a recession coming it'll be interesting if people flock to BTC and ETH like gold and silver in recessions.

Gold is already at ATH. Certain parts of the market have already priced in a recession. Buying gold now is a gamble.

Crypto still regarded as high risk assets but with ETFs on place you never know. 
Gold and silver always a safe heaven during recessions. 
To add on, lowering inftation might make  rate cuts imminent now. atleast 25 bp.
