Todays /success topic of the day: What’s one outdated practice or belief that you think needs to be challenged or discarded? I think we need to change the practice of saying “the customer is always right.” This can lead to toxic client relationships and to unreasonable expectations. It’s ok to say NO. What do you think?

I think the negative stigma of living with your parents should be done away with. I moved out before I even turned 18 and I wish I had stuck around to help prepare better for my early 20's. I worked bad jobs to barely make ends meet, but at the same time maybe that was a good lesson for me to be introduced to the "real world" early on. Other countries don't have that stigma, many will stay with their parents and save up to buy a house or go to college and be very well established without as much of a struggle.. but not everyone has that option. I moved backed in with my parents for a couple years and saved up enough for a down payment on a house much later in my life.. maybe I could have been further along by now if I chose differently. I also think about all the time I spent away from them, I should have been spending more time with them, family is everything and they won't be around forever 🖤

With the way the world is going in America I think this will be more common. Damn near impossible to make ends meet even if you have a bachelors degree for a lot of people
