The consumer does not need a crypto app. It needs an app. Our job is to find crypto to integrate in consumer behaviour. Till that happens, better idea is to let crypto run in background and keep just the app in foreground.

Endogenous vs exogenous price drivers of ETH vis a vis BTC. BTC acts as digital gold and hence always needs external price drivers/narrative - War, Inflation, ETF flows etc. At the other hand, Ethereum’s price drivers have always been the innovation taking place on the chain - from smart contracts to DeFi.

This is first thing Ethereum community should rally to bring a change to. The community should ask analytics platforms to start classifying the metrics properly. L2 of Ethereum should be added to Ethereum if any metric is being used to compare L1 Blockchains.

Crypto inverted financial privacy from “Verified actors, private transactions” to “Public Transactions, Pseudonymous actors”. This gets the goat of regulators. Perhaps it’s time for the crypto industry to take a hard look at this.

When someone presents a cheque to a bank, it’s not necessary for the receiver to know the account balance of the cheque issuer. The receiver only needs to know that the bank account has enough money to clear his cheque. That,anon, is ZK proof.
