The tallest waterfall in the world is Angel Falls in Venezuela. It plunges an astonishing 979 meters (3,212 feet) from the top of Auyán-tepui, a table mountain in the Canaima National Park. Named after Jimmy Angel, a U.S. aviator who first spotted it in 1933
