It is solved on blockchain. Have a look at $onopen.xyz. Open and transparant ticketing protocol. You Don’t need TM anymore. They have also a secondairy marketplace against controlled prices!

Very interesting Minted Space on X today in which @colby shared that - The big Web3 onboarding deal has to do "with a ticketeer we are really interested in and will be working with ... leaning toward the museum direction." - OPEN is working on an onchain secondary market together with an undisclosed partner planned for towards the end of the year.

Can Onchain ticketing replace ticketmaster? I hope onchain ticketing disrupts ticketsmaster and cuts out the middlemen. Securing a ticket for a concert has become a major source of frustration for fans, fake tickets, tickets vanishing in seconds, service fees that often surpass the face value of the ticket, scalpers etc. I am conviced that onchain ticketing can solve the current issues in the ticketing industry.

@openticketing.eth is doing this with their NFT Ticketing infrastructure. Everyone in this image has a web3 wallet and a NFT ticket, all done in the background with the end user having 0 knowledge about crypto/nfts. 6,6 Million tickets sold on chain so far for 23.000 events!

What most people new to OPEN do not immediately understand is that the $OPN token is used as fuel for every ticket sold. Part of it flows to the OPEN Foundation, part of it to the DAO, and part of it to the stakers. Even without the new football deal, OPEN operates at a global scale🔥
