if anytime during the Season 3, the tipper sells and buys again, should I realise that my tips received from them are gone next day or they just won't be valid in the end of the season

Or is it just that if they were to sell before the snapshot and get a snapshot balance of 10K below?

They need to keep the balance from the point of activation until claim day.

If you get tips from a tipper who invalidates their own tips later, they're gone.

My recommendation is still: don't count your received points. 

They're just pretend until claim day.

Also makes me hopeful towards the meta abusers knowing 90% of their tips will be long gone as those people are bailing out.
