The most important part of a hardware wallet is keeping your assets safe - both when using the wallet, as well as if you misplace it or it gets stolen.

RingWallet uses a proprietary EAL6+ chip produced by NXP, the same company that produces chips for almost all modern bank cards

There's a big gap in the hardware wallet space - nobody has really made it trivially easy for new people entering the space to self-custody safely. The whole space has remained largely stagnant, holding the same form factor with small screens and outdated UX.
