I guess in their defense, ride-share requires real world touch points. It isn’t purely based on software and incentives. However, these touch points have clear regulation/guidelines and are solved based on my experience using Teleport in Austin!

It also requires competing with massive incumbents, but based on the rides I’ve taken so far, I’ve paid less and seen drivers earn more per ride. The economics are better!

The era of protocols replacing companies is here! The tech is ready. The cold start problem can be overcome via reward incentives. Network participants are eager to own the networks they help create and to cut out rent seekers!
