Chainflip says it has limited some frontend services but can’t fully block transactions as a decentralized protocol. 

Over $1.1M in ETH has already been converted.

Metaplanet Makes Biggest Purchase Despite Bitcoin Price Correction

Investors are showing signs of caution following Bitcoin’s 9.8% drop in value over the past week. However, Japanese firm Metaplanet reaffirmed its confidence in the asset by purchasing approximately 620 bitcoins.
The purchase, part of the firm’s Bitcoin treasury operation, included 619.7 bitcoins worth about $60.6 million.
Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 1,761.98 units, worth nearly $168 million. The firm, known as MicroStrategy Asia, began accumulating Bitcoin in May.
Metaplanet recently announced that it expects to make an operating profit for the first time in seven years, largely due to its decision to use Bitcoin as a treasury asset. The company forecasts revenue to increase to 890 million yen (about $5.8 million) and operating profit to 270 million yen for fiscal year 2024.
