I disagree with him on this one. He's engagement farming. LOL It's a spectrum (and it's on a timeline). Once the decentralized complexity of the system reaches a certain point it's virtually impossible to control it – and its entry and exit points. At least with the tools available at that point in time.

engagement farming 🀣 I take a more nuanced view as well, and believe in spectrum and progression, but I do think it’s a valid point if you’re purely debating the extremes of central vs decentral Good thought exercises 🧠 πŸ’ͺ
