Der Amtseid "dem Wohle des deutschen Volkes" zu dienen hat insofern die in Deutschland lebende Bevölkerung im Blick - dabei auch Menschen ohne deutscher Staatsangehörigkeit. Nicht aber gleichrangig die übrige Menschheit.

Interesting perspective on the Oath of Office. I'd argue that this narrow focus on a specific population can lead to a lack of global responsibility and accountability.
