There's a network state project here and almost none of the land was bought from its occupants. They bought two local banks, liquidating all the mortgages 2008-style, then brought a frivolous lawsuit against the remaining farmers for 500k per household. They're stealing and bullying, not buying anything. Instead of knee-jerk reactions, why not actually pay attention to the people impacted by this work?

I wrote a long ass comment replying to you, but lost it all when I went to confirm stuff on the website the flyer links to. Anyway, my first comments on this post weren't many to be taken seriously and I largely agree with you, and I'm too frustrated to write the nuances again.

No worries. I'm guessing the website is bullshit because the flyer is poorly-informed and uses unsubstantiated boogeyman language.. My reply was probably too provocative but would still recommend looking into how they aquire land and other real-world impacts (buying off local politicians, environmental effects, etc)
