Public apology: I'm the reason this is "optimistic." and not "optimism." I was working at Optimism in 2021 when Etherscan was hired to build the explorer, and I recommended that. Thought I was being clever but now I'm just annoyed by it. Sorry everyone! 🙏

I like it this way. a d in hindsight it's even been the right decision: the chain has been renamed to OP Mainnet.
