A little story about Laila et Rasta.

Rasta is a stray who found his way to our farm. He arrived with a wounded head, likely from street fights. We live in a remote village with no nearby veterinary services—barely even human hospitals.

We did our best to clean and treat his wound, but it wouldn’t heal quickly because he kept scratching at it. So, we fashioned an Elizabethan collar for him from a plastic bottle. His unique “cone of shame” has made him quite popular in our little village.

This painting captures a special moment he shared with my friend Laila.
