that's my current guess. until some IPO news, solid earnings growth, or OpenAI agents is a banger release right now, people are adjusting to more bearish rates/inflation/maybe tariffs which will take a little time that's my current best guess

secretly happy the market had a pullback gives builders a month or two to get projects more mature rather than launching into the noisy green candles I'm super excited to unveil our new degen product soon. Follow @degengamebot to test early (buggy) versions. after two 10-20% up years of 2023 and 2024, I could see equities being muted this year and then banger in 2026 into midterms. OR the IPO window resuscitates everything. Those are my two most likely mental models. And crypto largely still trades like riskier big tech, except for event-drive movements (sovereign bitcoin funds). I think the 3 year crypto cycles are mostly over the market will be more about macro, event-drive, and bubble driven. I think AI coins will continue to be a bubble through this year. They are a fantastic speculative asset mixing the best of attention (memecoins) and pseudo-tech (gov tokens).
