1. The Ratliffs
MVPs of the season. Southern old money culture finally portrayed without making them Civil War villains.

	•	Parker Posey: a walking NC archetype
	•	Tim: too much screentime, but worth it for the suicidal Duke shirt memes
	•	Saxon: stole the show
	•	Piper: every Carrboro girl back from abroad with a passport and a worldview

We need a Ratliff spinoff.

2. Rick & Chelsea
Slow burn → perfect payoff.

	•	Rockwell brought weight late and most iconic moment
	•	Rick as the shooter hit hard
	•	Chelsea: the “good one” with the worst fate. That actress will be everywhere next few years.

3. The 3 Women
Best social mirror.
Endless one-upping in beauty, wealth, & virtue.
Each actress nailed it.
Laurie’s post-coital Cash App/Zelle moment = funniest of the season.

5. Belinda Zion Puchai
The audience’s POV.
Faces fear (animals, Greg), sees her son grow up, and finally secures the bag.
We all say we’d “be different” with wealth. But Belinda ditches Puchai to be rich for 5 minutes. Bring her back next season, post-rosy rich glow.

Final thoughts
The internet killed monoculture so when we have it, cherish it. Mike White brought it back post-Succession. 

White Lotus is a funhouse mirror of our worst instincts—and a reminder we’re not above them.
Give him infinite seasons.

Incredible casting.
