The Bybit hack is an example of the new tier of sophistication that attacks have reached. It’s brutal but here are some safeguards that could have been in place for a Safe wallet with that size of assets: * Make sure to upgrade to the latest version of the @safe contracts without proxy * Use an immutable interface or alt interface like @palmera or @onchainden (this is why decentralized UIs are important) * Have Guard smart contracts that limit the size, frequency, and recipients of large transactions or delegated actions * Readable tx data on hardware devices This is a time for the broader Ethereum and crypto community to come together and level up our Best Practices for managing high value wallets and wallets of all risk size.
