Thinking out loud: Instead of apps launching a token, why not launch stablecoins unique to their ecosystem? Positives? Negatives?

Fragmented liquidity. And users very much prefer incentives in speculative assets. You’re tipping hopium more than exact USD value.

There might be a middle ground here though. You could use buybacks and pool fees (Uni v4) to have a reference price for a token that is stable or, better yet, moves slowly up consistently over time. You could have a custom pool that slowly nudges the prices towards this trend line. So during viral moments, the pool captures more fees that could flow to token holders. During slow periods, the Treasury buys back the token nudging up the price. I'm not sure I've seen a mechanism like this outside of non collateral stablecoins. @yekim.eth
