weβre changing our points mechanism a bit at Overgie. Has any other team recently jumped into onchain points? I'd love to see new experiments and find out whatβs working so far

are onchain points generally just an ERC-20 token contract without liquidity? or something more complicated that can't be gamed by someone else providing liquidity (like soulbound erc-20s)

they should be liquid, but only earned. first, this 'onchain points' started as just points, kinda what rainbow has now. a way for projects to gamify the platform, playing around with different models and then launch their token for me degen is a great example, you earn points and those convert into a token

do you know of an easy way to build a backend to award points? i want to integrate this into a project, but dont have the dev bandwidth. deploying and airdropping an ERC-20 with no liquidity (mostly to unsavvy new users i'll onboard) seems like a very easy 1:1 solution. wondering if there's another simple way.
