Starting a channel these days is insane. Ripped this 8h ago as a space for people to talk about social finance topics (FT, FC, FantasyTop) and its immediately just flooded with people spamming Gm in what I'm imagining is them hoping to get an airdrop. Makes me not want to start new channels tbh

Update: Added @automod as a cohost and required a Power Badge and 10 Warps to Cast. Ran a Sweep and it immediately cleaned up 500+ Gm casts. S/o @jtgi absolute game changer. We are so back baby

It would be nice to have some sort of read-only channels. Although I can't quite articulate or justify it myself. I personally have a trade journal with reflections on the market which I had intended to be read-only (sadly, not possible).

Perhaps the Devs might provide some tools to manage channels/restrict unwanted behaviour. - option to timeout a user from channel - option to block a user from channel, when behaviour is not adjusted after multiple timeouts - private channels: exclusive access for users with a invite @dwr.eth ?

I think sometimes newbies are just trying to get some kind of reaction at all? I’ve been here a few weeks and it is very disheartening to be ignored day after day. I had hoped this would be an inclusive place where everyone could find a niche- but it’s difficult 🤷🏻‍♀️
