It's actually laughable how bad the current state of mobile crypto currently is. The flow of opening an app and being asked to connect a wallet on a different app only for it not to work the majority of the time is wild. We will not see mainstream adoption until this standard meaningfully improves.

For context this becomes the most apparent when using new crypto mobile apps or anything that has to do with an IRL event. I've never used mobile for crypto and don't keep my main keys on my phone (too much security risk). Generally speaking the main chokepoint is always connecting an existing wallet to a new app.

Embedded wallets fix this though. There are countless crypto apps that you can just use and email or phone number to signup with. Is the issue that you want to bring an existing wallet? Because for a brand new user, the process is pretty close to seamless rn …
