The best way to grow a following on FC is to create meaningful conversation. Sounds obvious but you'd be surprised by how many amazing people here are able to hold deep conversations about whatever is on your mind. Put real time and energy into the network and you will be rewarded.

It’s a bit tough rn for new joiners bc we’re not even sure our casts are being seen, given the level of interaction we receive on joining. This will be a blind spot for existing power users for a while but needs to be front and center for core devs (who are power users themselves) to keep 30d retention high

Totally feel this and think this is the power of channels. Pick 1-3 to make a conscious effort to engage in daily and you’ll become a top caster of that channel. Top caster has a ton of visibility and will earn the respect of other active users in that channel

Question: Can I earn the Top Caster of a channel only with new Caste or also with adding valuable replies to existing ones?

Tangential: had a conversation with another web3 social platform about “co-creation” of channels by multiple users, similar to Stack Overflow petitions. That would help bootstrap new communities vs monetizing single admins. Emergent communities were a significant area of study for me during my MBA :)
