Curious does Sound realise how monopolistic their approach is for a protocol, they've build everything aside from asset itself offchain, own identity, own graph, own context (comments), they don't even have url support for something like chain/address/id its crazy, everything is funnelled to a centralised entity

Would love to integrate, but kinda makes you think twice whether alignment can be reached in long-term, when such tradeoffs are being made. I assume this is due to core emphasis on product experience being super easy for non-crypto, but limits an ability for outsiders to build parity'ish experience, @coopahtroopa.eth wdyt?

I think your original post is extremely accurate and something I've thought about a ton. Sound Protocol is open-source but I also think this is one of the more likely outcomes of most consumer crypto apps. Correct on the intention being super easy product for non-crypto. Finding PMF will always be #1 priority.
