I've just had a conversation about points, and it seems there has been some serious confusion between monetary points and reputation points. Quick 🧵 on the differences between the two. Let's start here: Reputation points should not be spendable.

Really great summary and agreed on the nuances here. Reputation should not be transferable but having an onchain credit system that has value in a specific ecosystem feels very valuable to me. Eigen is a great example here. I personally hate the term "coin" but think its a good separation. 50000 $DEGEN

Thanks a lot! It is very valuable to have both Reputation and Credit points. Best example is credit system as you said, there's: a) credit score=reputation (you gain/lose points for doing certain actions) and b) cashback or air miles =credit points (spendable monetary points earned for being an active user)
