The best part about staying active during bear markets is getting unparalleled upside in the next market winners. It feels like when you really studied and prepared for an exam and know you’re going to ace it.

to me it felt more like staying active during the bear was providing exit liquidity to others. Helping others preparing for the exam but then you fail while the ones you helped pass. Then you have to repeat a year knowing the difficulty to pass the exam got raised.

yeah thats very true if you still hold all your old positions. I've become less attached to my positions and try and always rotate into new opportunities with my personal funds. IMO best move you could have made in 2021 was selling all your DeFi tokens to go all-in on NFTs but that was very unconventional at the time

that’s exactly what I did, was up a lot during that time. My biggest mistake then was over leveraging my NFTs by taking loans that pushed me back into the red zone. Now I remember how hard it is to get back into the green. Also having spent 150 Eth for gas makes me feel stupid now.
