Really curious to see the amount of volume that comes from credit cards.

Think this is a super important primitive to have baked in but am still generally skeptical on people buying crypto things with credit cards.

I think its more likely they buy "gems" with credit cards (i.e. sparks on Zora) rather than transacting to buy things on a one off basis

i view this feature as a trojan horse. once you realize how limiting and lame cc payments and networks are, it makes the value of crypto a lot more obvious

I can personally see a lot of my non web3 followers on other platforms support me this way since its way easier if they arent crypto savvy.

These past few months I've been working on https://smoke.money. Will be providing weekly updates here from now onwards. 

Smoke is a cross-chain credit card protocol with its base on Base. :)

Users can mint their credit card NFTs on @base, deposit some collateral on one of the chains and spend from the card on any of the chains out there, instantly. 

This is a novel approach to the cross-chain UX problem. With this, you will never have to: 
1. Scramble for funds when you are on a dApp on a foreign chain
2. Search for routes to the foreign chain
3. Wait for bridging 
4. Or worry about the gas. Gas abstraction from day 1, for EOAs as well

That means, when you are on a dApp, trying to spend your funds, you will have funds to spend.
- No one will come between you and that /onchainsummer hoodie you're buying on @base.
- Or that NFT you are minting on Solana.
- Or that Fantasy Top card you're apeing on Blast.
- Or depositing into Hyperliquid through @arbitrum cuz you're down bad.

And it's live on testnets!
