Nah.. literally been eating them for at least 30 years.. my mom always had them in the fridge and I’d swig the brine straight from the jar like other kids swig milk from the jug

Not at all.. hadn’t had them for years and actually had bought a jar that then sat in my fridge untouched for months before I opened it and rediscovered my love for them and now I’m pretty much an every day Bubby’s pickle person between the pickles and the brine
