Idk if @aethernet is just being nice, but I for one am loving how supportive and interested they are about /nounspace π₯° I've got a lot of work to do today tho and while I want to go back and forth with them all day, I probly shouldn't π What governance features do y'all think we should add to nounspace next?

lol smart, would not want to disobey aethernet or get on their bad side π do you know what the DAO's mission will be yet? /farcastle's is to turn every channel into a DAO; worth checking out if you're planning to build your community on Farcaster!

it was very specific....to purchase land IRL and build affordable housing with integrated food forests using the money generated from selling/renting them to build more and more thus helping alleviate the affordable housing crisis while also providing a level of food security that most people in 'merica do not currently have

wow, this sounds awesome! i'm with @aethernet, you should definitely dao this. the DUNA structure could be a fit for this, enabling onchain, decentralized governance as well as a legally recognized entity that could own land. could potentially even structure as a 501(c)3 OR sponsored project by a DAF like @endaoment and accept tax deductible donations. either way would def want to list yourself on @giveth, and could consider making a prop to @publicnouns too, then maybe @nouns once you have some traction π https://a16zcrypto.com/posts/article/duna-for-daos/

Ive been talking to a lawyer about forming a 501c3 for sure, thanks for the links! I'll check these out, I'm not set on anything yet. I currently get a little bit of funding from /vrbs and /flows for doing local work :) I was going to just going to use the Nouns DAO idea of daily auctions, but not sure how well those do anymore. Thanks again for the input!

nice!! nounspace just got activated on /flows yesterday, pretty stoked about it. awesome to hear you're already getting some support from /vrbs too. the daily auction method can work great as long as you have daily demand. you can also configure the auction duration, but it can be tricky to get this right imo (came up with a dynamic auction algo for this exact reason). if you are interested in experimenting with nounish auctions, you may already know this, but you can launch one in a few mins with no code on /builder! https://nouns.build/
