Carney seems out of touch. Steel manufacturing is a big pollution source, with 1 ton creating 1.8 tons of CO₂, responsible for 7-11% of worldwide emissions. Shifting to electric arc furnaces for recycling steel can reduce this, but it needs clean energy. New tech like lasers could help.
