I don't know what to tell you, I didn't see a post for it. I mainly Phave/Like pet posts and I only post about video games. Maybe they can use the ping function they built rather than relying on word of mouth? Obviously I did eventually see it but only after the claim date ended (despite it still being the 11th where I am).

😔😔. A notification as you opened the app might have been better. Like they do for new updates. But they have always sends announcements like this via posts on x,telegram,discord and here. Maybe moving on I think they should always notify everyone

Yeah they didn't lock me out of it, I just missed any kind of notification about it. But the onus to inform their users adequately is on them. There's a steep field of social media apps, they should be doing what they can to encourage participation. I feel anything but encouraged by this.
