Curation and criticality really are the skills of our time. If anything, generative Al is opening the doors to artistic overwhelm as we are faced with mountains of outputs as generative art materials to be collaged and carved to be collaged and carved again. Knowing when to stop and curate from self is one thing. Having enough time as a single human in the face of all this is quite another.
One thing is for certain, we need more music professional oriented Al tools than "wow just prompt your whole album right here" tools. The joy and the desire to craft with your own subjective signature is not going away of art is your heart and craft. Generating and leaving it works when conceptual about it, for anything else, at least within me, it is another mountain of art material that I must climb without enough limbs.
