Went to claim my gift certificate for a deep tissue massage today. I was told this was a word of mouth recommendation and that it would be quite special. I arrived in the best part of town, but the home of the therapist was barely standing - a literal shack, ca 1900, old, brittle wood held together with chicken wire. I was cautiously following a gangway towards the entrance, following the scent of clove oil. I met a tiny woman in her 60s, who then led me into a dark room, relaxing bird and jungle sounds playing in the background… More in comments 👇🏼
