The fundamental power of the internet has been to empower anyone on earth to be a publisher. In 2024, most people that have a creative idea can easily share it with the whole world, for free.

We built SuperRare because of a first-principles belief that NFTs could add a much needed monitization layer for internet creators, while acting as a market-expanding technology for collectible art. 

Akin to how Uber expanded the size of the market beyond people who used to go curbside to hail a cab, it’s now trivial for anyone to be a collector.

There’s still tons of work to do, and there will be more market rollercoasters along the way. But it’s important to recognize the underlying fundamentals continuing to play out over the long term.
