The worst thing about Farcaster is that false expectations often lead to superficial friendships. If your interactions are driven by the hope of personal gain or profit, it’s better not to make any effort to connect at all. Genuine support holds value, but anything less is meaningless. If you’re an artist, it’s time to reflect on your behavior and stay committed to your professional path.

Two things can be true, we can and should go for financial independence and we can behave and engage authentically with other people regardless of the outcomes. The problems with money are entirely psychologically manifest and at the choice of the participants. To make money the root of all evil is to give up agency over one’s own life and outcomes.
