Frames are good option, but their limitations really exhaust me as a developer.

Some of its challenges are related to the lack of interactive controls (There is just InputText and Button types not more). It lacks basic user interaction standards. 

On the other hand, its output is limited to static images or at most GIFs. It fails to evoke any sense of being alive!

The more significant issue, based on the statistics I have gathered over this period, is its extremely high resource consumption. This is because the user must wait for both processing and image generation with each request! This imposes a very high cost in high-demand scenarios.

Frames would be so much more interesting in other clients if they weren't forced to communicate all the info in the form of an image 

Would love to move from current return structure to a more generalized json response that can contain both the generated image and the data used to construct that

This would make it a lot easier for devs to explore different form factors while still keeping it compatible with any warpcast-esque implementation

For sure, let's look at @edit and the /co casino frames, lets go with roulette for the example

The input is a variation of <bet amount> on <option> but the text input is kind of a lackluster experience and edit has to communicate so much in a small space

Whereas a client (lets say /jeeves ) could actually render that frame with an entirely new interactive UI, since only two things matter

1) The input needs to end up as "<bet amount> on <option>
2) The post frame action is the actual interesting part of frames, verifiable authenticated actions across the internet tied to your identity and onchain activity

But right now to do this to its full potential I would need @edit to set up some kind of conditional where his frame project could return json data to me instead of html - this is what we have been calling "tiles" internally
