guys I’m extremely upset about how the US is treating Ukraine tell me politely why I’m wrong to a) be upset and b) why I’m wrong in believing that America needs to fully support Ukraine and recognize as a given that Russia will try again, in a few years, to take more land if they can

You are correct. The Trump administration is treating Ukraine poorly. DJT is transactional and makes calculations based on financial outcomes. I refer you to the admin’s request for Ukraine’s natural resources as a condition of US support of the country. DJT sees Ukraine as weak and does not want to deign niceties towards them. He is doing the most he can to make the troubles with Ukraine go away as soon as possible and to line his pockets along the way.

It’s a very complicate situation. The negotiations are one side based because Trump can’t negotiate with Russia without giving them all they wants + no guarantees. The only hope is that EU is already negotiating with Putin over Trump head but it’s too good to be true. Putin won’t loose the chance to call USA his puppets, but his best customers are EU countries. Probably Ukraine can’t stop to fight. 💛💙
