Welcome to The Crucible. Here $DEGEN tipping game moderators discuss and enforce tip etiquette and tipping game participation. This first wave of moderators were, by and large, nominated by the wider degen and farcaster communities. Each has demonstrated grit and creativity within the Warpcast context and kept the spirit of the tipping project in mind as they explore new ways to build, grow, and make friends. You all tip wisely. Now it's up to you and the community to decide and enforce what that means and, ultimately, whether a tip counts as good quality.

Here's how: Each moderator has a new super power: 'dedegen' 🟣 If a degen moderator discovers casts worthy of a downvote, they can reply with 'dedegen' 🟣 'dedegen' is not case sensitive and you can include other text/ characters in your reply (encouraged) 🟣 quorum is presently set to five total downvotes; in other words, if five or more mods reply to a thread with 'dedegen' all degen tips in that thread are annulled (ie, all tips removed for that post)

Some details: > deleted posts are still counted > quorum requirement will change to reflect mod quantity, efficacy, and participation > appointed mods can be removed at any time and their downvotes annulled > all official degen mod conduct and discussion will be kept public and concentrated to The Crucible > Jacek, Colton, and I have instant-nuke powers (ie, no quorum required). > no bans for now; let's see what we can do with soft power first

is it possible that we the plebs can see what casts have been nuked? if not today, one day? I do think this system will work BUT I can also see non PB and new users not liking the oversight since they don’t know the team might create a feeling that they’re being watched/controlled ect especially given the bias in crypto to conspiracy oriented ppl

Agree. I'd like oversight tools for mods as well. Eventually, we'll need ways to watch the watchers (group is too large for me to watch manually). HOW mods wield this power will largely dictate how the broader community reacts. That said, prepare for "theatrical overreaction" from farmers and disenfranchised types. Take their concerns seriously; just don't over-weigh their bombast.
