A year from now, I’m optimistic the Warpcast sign up flow will be:

1. Welcome
2. Email confirmation
3. Apple Pay in app purchase
3. Register username
4. Finish profile

Hypothetically, you could just pull email in from Apple Pay. I think you can require it in the payment details card.

I think Sign in with Apple (lock in) is different from when merchants just request an email with an Apple Pay purchase. It’s been a year since I was there so things may have changed. Here’s Best Buy for reference https://i.imgur.com/1JzTNnJ.jpg

Interesting. Would it create lock in to the Apple ecosystem for a user if they use the anonymized email address?
