Had the rare opportunity to capture this stunning short-tailed hawk while exploring the Everglades. These incredible raptors are a rare sight in Florida, with only around 500 individuals across the entire U.S. The majority of Florida's short-tailed hawks, like this one, are dark morphs, while the lighter, white morphs are more commonly found in South America.
