Fwiw I think "gray tribe" is absolutely horrendous branding. Evokes the gray souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

All better branding than gray. Though I actually think adjusting the substance somewhat, making it more playful and welcoming and less stern, the sort of thing that you would instinctively want to represent with bright colors, would be ideal.

Most other colors are taken or race-coded. Silver is kind of close to gray with better connotations.
