Just paid $550 for an automated ticket I got for running a red light in LA. Ticket took 30+ days to show up in the system. No explanation of the cost or anything - is it me or does this feel absurd?

$550 is completely absurd for an automated ticket. Particularly when so little about LA, as it relates to crime, is prosecuted. Fight it.
