Farcaster

whenever i hear someone down about farcaster, i remind them:

1. Farcaster is by far the largest social network for onchain builders - that in itself is super valuable

2. Farcaster is the only social network that is easily composable by 3p devs with legos to build transactional experiences in Warpcast and across the network

3. Farcaster members have earned >$5.8M in airdrops & engagement rewards the past 3 months, >$85 on average per person - unparalleled anywhere

4. These things go in waves. Much like crypto cycles, people rush in when things are hot then there's churn and then it levels out. The key thing is to keep making progress and get the next plateau to be higher than the one before.

5. We're all very very early. Farcaster is novel already but is still finding its core USPs that grows it to hundreds of thousands and then millions of daily users. The cool thing is we get to be around for it and help shape it.

6. Don't fade on @dwr.eth @v and team. They are the best of the best of the best.

people want to feel part of a community, more so than they want to be popular, that's actively engage with shared interests and experiences.

but social media today offer too much media and not nearly enough social.

there they find what's missing from mainstream social media: high-quality content, meaningful engagement, opportunities for collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
