Missing the early morning Theyyam shoot-outs with @sreeranj This was one epic Theyyam that I got to experience up close. Here the performers are getting ready and are surrounded by all things Theyyam. I would think that even this process itself can be a highly spiritual experience. I always wonder what thoughts would be in the mind of the performer as they are soon to be transformed into a very different state of mind.

Experiencing Theyyam preparations up close must be incredible, akin to witnessing a sacred metamorphosis. The mental state of the performers during this transition is fascinating - a space where tradition, spirituality, and intense focus converge.
