I was wondering why the font "Impact" became the most popular font for memes... 🧐 Here's what I have found 👇 Impact was included in Microsoft's "core fonts for the web" in 1996 and bundled with Windows 98. This ensured that the font was readily available on millions of computers The font's bold, white letters with black outlines are easily readable against various backgrounds, making it perfect for text overlays Early memes (including the infamous "I Can Has Cheezburger?" meme) were using this font, making it a template for other meme creators.
